Ashely Cruey & Ethan Busald Wedding - 7.7.07

These guys were so fun to work with! This wedding was especially fun for me, because I got to work on it with all my studio-buds. My shop is located in the Bridal Studio (www.the-bridal-studio.com), and I share the studio with Letterheads Ltd., Bluebird Photography, and Brideface. And, amazingly enough, we all worked on this wedding. Ashley and Ethan were great as were their families. We all had a lot of fun working with them.

Colors

These colors are stunning! This was a wedding I did last summer, but I never posted the pictures (I didn't have a blog then and I do not know how to put them on my web site). So, I thought I would share these. These pictures were taken by April Rentz from Bluebird Photography. Isn't her work is fantastic!

Kristin Safier and Dan Hoying - August 18, 2007

These two were so laid back and fun to work with. I really enjoyed meeting them. I'm posting a few pics of their flowers, and I'm hoping they send me some of their professional pics, so that I can post them too!

My First Post

This is my first post, and I'm so excited about it.

I'm going to cover a gamut of topics, all surrounging flowers and decor...and maybe some other stuff. :)

I feel so lucky to do the job that I do. I get to work with fabulous people on one of the most exciting days of their lives! And, I love everything about it. I love hearing their stories and meeting them, their family and friends. I love helping to choose the color palettes, the flowers, the containers, the ribbons, and the fabrics that make the day spectacular. And I especially love seeing it all come together on the big day!

So, that's my first post! I hope I can put topics and blurbs up here that everyone will find helpful and interesting. Please feel free to comment.

Thanks, Courtenay
